The Chat Operator is built and run by Leslie Carneiro in the UK. It started with a simple problem: good local businesses were losing work because nobody could answer the website at 9pm.
So we built a chat that answers properly, in the business’s own words, and a panel that shows the owner what came in and what it earned. Then we decided to set every chat up by hand, because owner-operators don’t have time to build one, and shouldn’t have to.
